Bought two 75' Xhose Pro hoses from the Xhose company website.  After waiting several weeks for delivery, hoses were delivered but within a few uses the first one 'exploded', meaning the inner hose separated and would no longer carry water. Called the company and they agreed to send a new one.  A week later, the exact same thing happened to the second hose while watering flowers.  Clearly a very poorly made product. Only then did I read reviews online to find that hundreds of other consumers had the same problem and rated the Xhose as garbage. Some suggesting that the company should be investigated for consumer fraud.

Again called the company and said I wanted my money back. Was told to return both hoses and within 3-5 days of receipt my credit card would be credited.  Called the company on day six and was told a refund would take another 3-5 days.  After stating that was unacceptable, the customer service rep agreed to credit me while I was on the phone, saying my refund was $62 when I originally paid $91.85. Was told that the difference was for shipping & handling. On the Xhose website it clearly says "90 day money back guarantee" with no other conditions mentioned. Feel like I've been misled and ripped-off. It appears that this company is actually making money (or covering losses) by ripping off customers rather than selling a quality product.  It's also shocking that such a lousy product is able to use the DAP logo which is actually a well-respected manufacturer of caulk and other products. It's one of the reasons I decided to buy the product. Went to the DAP website and found nothing about the Xhose. Curious to know how Xhose is able to associate itself with a quality company like DAP when it has such a poor product, miserable service and is blatently ripping off consumers.

Still waiting for the credit to appear on my Visa card. Consumer advocates and legal authorities should definitely investigate this company.
