The YMCA took over SPORTS FIRST GYM located in Trussville Alabama. Then under Mr. Neil J Nicoll's watch as National Director of the YMCA, they took the funds the swimmers had in the swim team account. Money the kids had worked hard for to help support the swim team. Now the Trussville YMCA is telling the kids there is no more swim team, their money is gone and no more coach. The coach who was a mentor to the kids on the swim team and loved by all, was terminated wothout cause. The United Way and all who support the YMCA should stand up for these kids, and their coach. Mr. Nicoll has failed to. I have allways thought that was what the YMCA was about?

I always thought the "Y" was a good bunch. No more. For years, from the time she was five, until she was eleven, every summer, I sent my granddaughter to the local "Y" down the street from my work. Last year they spent about six months and a bunch of money remodeling it. They upgraded the place and made it into a gym and got a bunch of people to sign up, gym memberships.
Then what do they do? They close it down and sell the place off to some other non-profit group. The place has sat vacant for the last six months. With a large group of unhappy members who have to travel a large distance to the next nearest
"Y". Talk about a scam AND a ripoff. I imagine they made a pretty profit off the sale and left a bunch of members and kids out in the cold.
