Warning this store is like the ugly step sister to the regular Zales store do no buy from the Outlet they will sell you items that are not compatable to what you have due to incompetant sales staff just to make a sale.
We went into a outlet store while on vacation just to look for a wedding set to go with a 1.5 carat engagement ring we had purhased from a regular Zales store the sales associate at the outlet store named Jill sold us a wrap which we thought looked good next to our ring.
With two slight problems one it was intended for a brilliant cut not a princess cut and number two it was not designed for a center stone that size it hit our mounting wrong and did not fit correctly noe if I was a ring expert I may have noticed this but obviously nethier is there sales staff our they don't care just to make a sale.

Zales outlet has a (no return) exhange only policy so on my next days off we drove the fifty plus miles to the Woodburn Oregon outlet malls where we could find a wrap that we liked and would work with our engagement ring.
This is where it gets ugly the sale associate Patty here tried to help us she pulled out everything she had and nothing seemed to fit it she stated we had a unuasally large center stone at this point nothing the outlet had would work we wanted our money back we tried to exchange it but they had nothing that would work.

Patty called her manager Malyvann to ask if she could do a refund due to the circumstances the manager stated it had to be approved by the regional manager Dave Wakeley we called Mr. Wakeley who only implied that we should have known the ring was not for a princess cut and that we had probably found another wrap we liked better somewhere else (Total Lie).

At the end of all this what it comes down to is the consumer is paying the price for a stores incompetent help.

James, first off I apologize for what it sounds like you have been through. As an employee of Zale's I just wanted to let you know that you have an option to go above that Regional Manager, you can contact our corporate customer service at 1-800-311-5393 who will do what they can to try to rectify the situation. Of course I cannot guarantee anything but they are usually good at solving customer complaints quickly.

Good Luck.
