So I purchased the ticket and my friend was unable to make it to departure due to car failure. So I figured well that is alright I can make the ticket for the next departure. Boy was I wrong. I called there customer service department and I was told that they have a very strict policy they don't switch out tickets and if I want to make the next departure that I would have to purchase another ticket. They also told me that the only way they would switch out a ticket is that you would have to be in a car accident and to provide a police report in doing so. I think this is utterly ridiculous. I spent my hard earned money on this company all you can tell me is I have to be in a car accident to get any service with them. I guess the saying goes, you get what you pay for and what I got was lesser pockets with no service.
Oh and don't ask for no refund because your not going to get one. I don't know who make their rules but they need to take some notes from Greyhound when it comes to customer service, if the passenger can't make it for some unknown reason then at least try and satisfy the customer by letting them get on the next departure or give them their money back. Things do come up, Megabus don't understand that. So this is my warning to anyone who is looking to use there service, you may not be able to make it or something may have come up. Be prepared to not get your money back or get your ticket switched out.
