The Pyramid Collection bad News ... and rude besides Internet, Massachusetts

Tuesday .. Oct 23,2012 I ordered 3 complete Halloween costumes to the tune of almost $400.00 inc shipping... I was assured 3x by the phone sales rep  that all were in stock , and would be shipped overnite for delivery on Thursday Oct 25 via FedEx.... She also said that I qualified for a discount on another item because of the amount of the order... So I picked another item and added it and it brought the sale to over $400.00

Iwas also told that there would be email confirmation of the order .... that never happened [strike one] .  Yesterday , FedEx arrived... with only the bonus item. According to the packing slip ... everything else was designated as being on  on backorder[strike two]... but I had incurred the 0/N shipping costs for the whole $400.00 plus order [strike 3]

I called the company and got one of the rudest customer service reps I have ever come in contact with.. When I described the problem , she told me that the sales people aren't always up to date on inventory, and the the things that showed in inventory were probably used to fill other back orders... These were  Halloween costumes , and are useless after Halloween, so I told her to cancell the remainder of the order... To which she responded that the order could not be cancelled ... So I told her she had two choices ... cancel it or deal with my credit card company.. only then did she cancel the order...

When  I asked to be removed from their mailing lists ... she slammed the phone down and hung up

My advice .... avoid them
