Altisource used me to gather information on a property condition. Then declined my offer of 42,000 and a week later sold the property to someone else for 35,770... I smell kick backs, Internet

Atlisource used me to gather information on a property that I was interested in purchasing. When I rescinded an offer of 49,000 because after closer inpection of the property I found major repair needs. Altisource requested that I send them a formal bid from a contractor. Which i did at my own expense of time and effort.  After I submitted the bid they countered with a ridulous offer and I countered with 42,000 in which they rejected.  After one week I see that they have sold the property to someone else for 35,770.

They are shady and most likely getting kick backs from someone. How can they justify selling that house for 7,000 less than my offer and let me do all the research for them
