Won the house bid spent 1500.00 to go look at property, 409 for inspection had to have CEO of company turn on Utilities Altisource pretended they would pay past due amout so i could inspect.  Transaction was ready to close then they ordered a title policy from a title company. Nextitle and premium title represented themself as one but were only Alitisources escrow agents. Had to spend at least 80 hours on phone and email with Hubzu/Altisource finally found out they were not the title company. Well it turns out they never recorded the sale at the court house.

I was asked if i would wait till title cleared approx. 5 months. I said ok. Then i get email that seller Altisource will not wait for title to clear and I can bid next time it is available. Now I am out about $ 3,500.00 +. I had to deal with a company in which 98% of the people are in India. There was poor communication, the title company was incompetent, the listing agent was incompetent in advertising a property for sale which they could not sell. They imposed short time frames which I met while they did nothing.

I have been a Real Estate broker for 30+ years in Texas, I told them I wanted to not use their title services after I found out they were totally incompetent NexTitle/Premium Title. Too late. I found out whom the real title company was and asked what the problem was. The policy had just been requested and they "Altisource" Hubzu etc. had failed to record sale.

Now I am assigned to their Omsbudman. She is from the US. I feel pretty violated at this time. I am about to hire an attorney. Their contract gives them the right to do with you as they wish but I believe Fraud precludes any contract and they others whom are susideraries have liability also.

This was to be both me and my wifes retirement home. They trated me like I was a number and dismissed me without any thought to the impact believing their contract protected them. They will do this to you also. We shall see I do believe there is pain and suffering, misrepresentation, incompetence, and fraud available in the state of Washington. I do plan to seek justice.

I will keep you updated as this also crossed state lines and this is federal also.

Jim
