MAC BUYERS BEWARE....
Apple claims to stand behind their products - NOT!
After spending hours trying fixes on their website and then at least two hours trying to get a defective battery replaced, the best I got was sorry for the inconvenience and told to buy another one at retail.
The website says they know there are defective MacBook batteries and claims they are replacing batteries free of charge but only if you "qualify." I meet every qualification on the website, but when I called (twice) they told me mine was not "identified" as one with the defective battery. Others I know have recently had the same problem and been given the same unsatisfactory answer, go to the store and buy a new one at retail.
I'm done with this company...
