Business Recovery Services has the knack to find out if you own an online business and who you are working with. They say that they will help you recover the money that you have invested with the company that you started your business with. They provide you with a "Do it yourself " Business Recovery Kit that supposedly will get your money back via different government agencies, the BBB , the merchant and your credit card company. There is no guarantee as to the results you may obtain via the kit. Also, they have a bullet proof "No Refund" policy. Once you have been snared, you cannot get your money back. They have covered every angle possible and they is no way for the consumer to do anything about it. My wish is for everyone in North America to be aware of the unfair practices that this company utilizes, the potential customer is expected to read a 48 page document which is in fact the Federal Trade Commission - Telemarketing Sales Rule. Believe me, you do not have the time to read it all with the person trying to sell you the product coming back to you every 2 minutes to find out if you are done yet. They will use every means possible, fair and unfair to suck money out of you. Once they have you, you go through a series of agreements, which once again you do not have the time to read properly and you are prompted to say yes to the statements loud and clear so they can record your voice and get an electronic signature on one click of your computer mouse. This racket has been going on long enough, the FTC has brought a lawsuit against this company and I don't think this will be enough to get these people off the market to continue to swindle people. I urge all of you who have been sucked in by BRS to make another report about your experience with them. By the way, they also have a testimonial website about how good their services are, the nice thing about it is that it is password protected, interesting isn't it. BRS never again! I will make sure that all of my friends, family and acquaintances are made aware of this company and the way they do business.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Mr. Tanguay is wrong
AUTHOR: Business recovery services - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2011
Business Recovery Services (BRS) has received this Ripoff Report filed by Robert Tanguay of 236 De Carillo, St. Jean Sur Richelieu, Quebec, Canada J3B4B3. Mr. Tanguays telephone number is (450) 347-0075.
Mr. Tanguay alleges that the "Do-It-Yourself" Business Recovery Kits he received are a scam. Of course, this is utter nonsense. Many business owners who have purchased the "Do-It-Yourself" Business Recovery Kits from BRS in the past have realized full refunds just by sending in the kit's contents. Furthermore, even more business owners have realized full refunds by using the services of Home-Based Business Consulting Services (HBBCS). To date, BRS and HBBCS have assisted its clients in recovering well over $2,300,000 from ill-fated business opportunities.
On June 17, 2011, Mr. Tanguay purchased two (2) "Do-It-Yourself" Business Recovery Kits from BRS for a total of $450.00 for companies called Specialty Merchandise Corporation (SMC) and E-Merchant Club (EMC). BRS has assisted its clients in recovering over $350,000 from these two (2) companies to date. Obviously, the name "Do-It-Yourself" clearly indicates that Mr. Tanguay needs to do the actual work himself. In addition, Mr. Tanguay signed off that he realized that more effort could be required on his part. The "Do-It-Yourself" Business Recovery Kits were sent to Mr. Tanguay as promised. Mr. Tanguay never called BRS for any follow-up assistance, which BRS provides free-of-charge.
Mr. Tanguay makes reference to BRS testimonial list. The list is password protected because our testimonials were being called at all hours of the night by these so-called business opportunity sellers. So, BRS protects its testimonials from this type of harassment. Im sure Mr. Tanguay would appreciate this protection if his name were on the testimonial list.
If Mr. Tanguay wishes to quit before he gets started, then that's Mr. Tanguay's prerogative. However, to blame BRS because he quit before he got started is fundamentally unjust, and Mr. Tanguay should be ashamed of himself.
