Capital One ripoff paid off account six months ago still paying account fraudulent ripoff business Seattle Washington

My name is Darryl Woodside I have been a Capital One card holder for about five years. I wanted to do a debit consolidation with Southern California Edison Credit Union. I did this back in Aug. of 2002. I have got the confirmed statement from my Credit Union letting me know that all of my previous credit cards were cancel and paid-off. At one time I had four captalOne accounts.

Two are paid off one I wanted to keep for emergency use and the other three canceled. I still have two accounts open. The one I am writing this letter about I have paid the account off in Aug. I never got any kind of statment so I thought this account was paid off.

Right before Christmas I recieved a bill for that card tellig me I owe 109.46. On January 03 I called capital one to make a payment by phone for the amount of 110.00. The guy I made the payment to told me there is no 10.00 fee to pay by phone since I am paying the account in full.

I have received another bill this month telling me I have 176.92 bill for some DVD's I didn't pay for and On Star service I get billed monthly for. If this card was paid off how can they just reopen the account charge on with out my arthourization and up the APR to 21.71%. I need answers fast. I anyone reading this and can help me I am willig to pay.Because tis kind of thing is just not right.
