Civic Development Group, Millennium Teleservices Deceptive Practices, Demeaning Behaviors, Harrassment Edison New Jersey

I worked at CDG/MTS in the New Brunswick, NJ office before being transfered to Logan, WV. Some of the people who worked there are simply trying to support their families. Those are the few.

Civic Development Group attempts to demoralize an individual by breaking down the psyche and continually telling individuals that they cannot work anywhere else except maybe McDonalds. They attempt to raise the person to great highs so when they do chop them at the knees the fall from grace is that much harder. Then slowly, but surely they will again build you up. They do this so they can manipulate the individual into becoming a CDG drone. You always have it in the back of your head that they might cut you down again. You must work longhours without recourse, or compensation for fear that you will loose your job.

They suspend callers without recourse and have no care about anything but the bottom line. They hire from half-way houses and parolees so they can easily manipulate the person. Drug users, addicts, alcoholics and dregs are mixed in with hard-working people just trying to support themselves. Truly a sad, demeaning place to work!

I left them and promised myself I would go on welfare before I ever went back. I cherish my experiance because it taught me the lows of humanity and just how much good I can find in myself. Remarkedly I left and do not work at any fast food restaurants. No, in fact I am quite successfull and happy since I've moved on.

I felt so bad for those that are still stuck there without recourse (as many of the areas CDG sets up are represssed)
