Credit Acceptance Corp Excessive, repetative, harrasing phone calls, rude people Southfield Michigan

We have hit some hard time in this economy with both of us out of work. We are less than one payment behind on our truck payment, financed through Credit Acceptance Corp. The day it was late they started calling us every hour on the house on each phone, so we were getting 2-3 calls an hour. On the home Phone they would call, hang up and call back, if we did not answer they would call the cell phone.

I would call these people everyday to inform them of our situation and give them a partial payment of what I could. But nothing was good enough. They said until they had the full payment they would just keep calling, so their motto is really harass them until they pay!! They told me that they had only called 2 times in one day, and that their computer records the amount of times they call. I told them and have counted an excess of 12 times in one day, they deny it!!

I am at my breaking point, I had called them several times in one day explaining to them that we are doing our best and made a promise to pay $100 toward our account. I paid the $100 dollars, they continued to call every hour just the next day after I did it.

Today I answered the phone and the guy on the other line was from credit acceptance starting yelling at me to make another promise to pay, I told him that I had payed $100, he said he didnt care and needed all of it and NOW, he was extremely rude and told me that I had to pay now, that they would just keep calling. It became so bad I had to hang up on the guy.

This company is rude, harassing, and their workers that call cant even speak English. And besides not only a couple months from buying the truck, the clutch went out and hasnt been drivable since, so I am paying for a lemon!!!
