David Nguyen Serial Liar Vancouver British Columbia

This guy works in the Vancouver film industry. On set a few years ago he told me and another actor that he had been cast as Adam Driver’s son in the upcoming Star Wars film. He also told me that he was going to be second unit directing on the same Star Wars movie. He continued to tell us that he worked in the sound department on Mad Max - Fury Road and as well as on Game of Thrones. Funny enough he had added me randomly on Facebook a few days earlier. I had seen all these crazy posts about him and his work so when we first met I had no reason not to believe him. However, when I checked my FB feed the next day, he had made a post about how the previous night - the night he and I met in Vancouver’s West End - he’d been DJ’ing a huge show in Las Vegas. I commented on his post something along the lines of, 'ah, dude - you were with me in Vancouver last night. There is no way you were in Vegas.’ Someone then posted below me, 'bah-ha! Thank you so much for calling this guy out on his s***!’ I felt so stupid for believing this joker, so I pm’d him and called him out on his nonsense but he refused to admit that he had been lying to me. Out of curiosity, I contacted a friend of mine at the DGC to see if she’d ever heard of him. She confirmed that he was a production assistant in Vancouver but had no evidence to back up his claims of being a Director or Sound Recordist. A month later my same friend e-mailed me this rip off report. Someone had complained about him to the DGC and they were sending it out to their members as to make them aware of his lies. I’ve since come across other people in the Vancouver film world who've fallen victim to his b*******. Avoid this clown like the plague and don’t believe a word he says.
