Digital River is a marketing company for TuneUp Utilities and many other software manufacturers. I responded to a email from Digital River for a upgrade for 2010 TuneUp Utilities. It came as a download. After downloading, it turned out to be only a 30 day trial version. Totally deceptive ad. Trial versions are free and I paid for a upgrade.
Digital River customer service is a waste for time. 952-253-1234 They will give you the runaround and ultimately refuse to help.
TuneUp Utilities customer service 1-312-962-9996 will not answer. Just a recorded message for you to leave your phone number....and they will never get back to you!
It was totally my fault. I failed to read the negative reports and there were many. So buyer beware. Buy your software in CD form from a local store. Do not buy from Digital River. You will only donate your hard earned dollars to a company that does not deserve it.

Tune Up Utilities update

In my report, I made mention that Tune Up Utilities will never call back. Well miracles can happen. They did call back albeit 7 days later, but non the less they did call and gave me a solution to my problem.
I give Tune Up credit for trying to help...
Digital River still has done nothing to help.
