Dish Network Price went up, so I called to cancel. I have time left on my contract, but the price went from $19.95 to 29.95 within 6 months. I just want out, and they told me that I will be billed for the rest of the contract even after I told them the dish unit is not working. Internet

I got Dish and had them for just over a year. I had trouble with them billing me more than what I asked for. They took the overcharge off, and things were good. Then Dish raised their price from $19.95 to 29.95 and so I asked that I get out of the contract due to the high cost. They told me that I would have to buy my way out. They can and will raise the price but you can't get out of the contract. In other words they can do what they want and you can't get out. I would have kept using them, but the cost is over what they told me it would be. $24.95
