Wes Anderson, allegedly of EPS, contacted me and said he could help me find a job with a PE firm. I was skeptical, so I agreed on the condition that he would only get paid after I received a legitimate interview. A few weeks later, he called with a  job opportunity. I had a phone interview with someone calling himself Arnie Phillips of A.G. Becker. I checked Google and found that there is such a company, so I took the interview. I was immediately asked to pay their fee.

After the call and a few spaced out emails from Arnie, he said the company had picked someone else. I was all set to go to New York for a final interview, but that never happened. I became suspicious of Arnie, and started checking things out. The original AG Becker investment company in Chicago ceased operations several years ago. Not long after that, someone created a new company in Florida called AG Becker, LLC. Only one name is linked to it, and the LLC has been inactive for quite some time. 

Now knowing this, Arnie Phillips works Wes Anderson to conduct fake interviews and collect fees from job hunters. Stay away from them!
