My husband and I bought our home in 2006 obtaining two loans from First Franklin Loan Services. Our contract stated that the ARM loan will adjust depending on the market conditions. Everyone knows the economy is not good and the real estate market has severely dropped leaving us homeowners on a situation of a home with little value. Without caring about the real estate value they started to go up every six months without caring about what the contract terms were. Once we asked this company to help us make our loan fixed instead of adjustable they turned around and sold our account to a different company.
Now that I'm trying to get the second mortgage modified and after going on their website and gathering all kinds of documents they ask for, I called to check if they received the modification package and said they received the fax and the mailed documents but that there are some things missing. I asked them why didn't anyone give us a call to let us know what was needed and they had the nerve to tell me that they are so busy that they didn't get a chance to call us. Are they serious or what? This is completely unacceptable if you ask me. But then again they are not busy to call and ask for their money...
I advise anyone who has First Franklin Loan Services as a lender to be very careful and anytime you have to send them something, please mail it certified. Do not fax them anything. Their website says... A DEDICATED fax line is available to accept your financial information. This is not true. Their fax is always busy and even if you are able to get through and get a confirmation on the fax sent succesfully, they always say they didn't get it. They sit there and give you the run around meanwhile, our homes are in stake here. They have very poor customer service available and if you noticed, their website does not offer a way to reach anyone via email because that will leave a paper trail to use against their actions and negligence. All of First Franklin Loan Services customers should get together and do something about this. Anyone out there reading this please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm willing to put an end to this wheter it's through the media, lawyer, or class action law suit. Please record any conversations you have with them, send all mailed documents certified, keep on top of them by calling and following up closely, keep an eye open and examine all of your statements number by number and word by word. This company is ripping off a lot of people and they don't even know it!!!!!! I'm sure someone reading this is in the same or worse situation. Please spread the word! If you are looking to buy a house do not use this company as your lender... Thank you!
