Forster And Garbus Harrassing Collection Agency/ law firm Farmingdale New York

There seems to be alot of activity on Forster and Garbus. I am currently enrolled in a Debt Resolution Company, pay my monthly fee and try to save as much as possible for settlement offers. This Debt Resol. company negotiates with creditors, i.e. i turn in creditor's numbers, and they send the Collection agency a cease and desist letter as well a limited power of attorney. Forster and Garbus continually disregard this. They call me at home and leave very personal information on the messages for anyone to hear, they call me at work, they call my cell. I have not to date received one written piece of paper from this firm. Yet last thursday afternoon, i am served with papers to answer a summons. Get this; they sent it on June 2, the County received in on 6/17 and i received it on 6/26. I'm guessing i have the 20 days from the date i actually received this summons.

I have sent this to my debt company; they said that they will take care of this. I'm wondering if i should contact any attorney of my own just in case? I can't believe i received a summons from an agency that i have never received anything from.

Help! Any advice?
