Forster And Garbus fraudulent misleading and possibly illegal tactics Famingdale New York

In May I recieved a letter saying they were representing a credit card company I had used. I wrote back and explained I had a work injury two years before and had been out on disability and made an offer of 100 a month initially. I recieved nothing back. I then recieved a "summons".

A month after the letter in May i had hired a bankruptcy lawyer. I called my law firm, faxed over "papers." My lawyer made a deal with their office with the understanding a "stipend judgment" would be sent to me first about the agreement.

Two weeks went by, no papers. I called my lawyer who called them and was told "They said they forgot to mail them and they were on the desk and would go out that day." One week later no papers. This time my lawyer speaks to the supervisor of the person who had planned on making papers out. Supervisor stated "The papers (summons) was filed incorrectly, but that they would gladly take payments and they would also get rid of legal charges I was docked due to "papers" being filed. A copy of agreement was to be mailed out. Again NO papers sent.

My lawyer told me to speak with them myself. I have called and no one will return my call. I think 1) There is considerable pain and suffering of "Summons" which wasn't "filed correctly" and 2) They have no intention and are both building up interest, working towards getting more legal fees for their services and are just planning to attempt to sieze my accounts.

IF real summons is given I plan on showing up in court and saying all this to a judge. I think they are misrepresenting themselves and bilking costs. Anyone else out there with similiar problems with this group?
