GEX INTERNATIONAL Sells junk engines, Does not honor warranty, Does not reimburse RIPOFF Booneville Arizona

The shop had purchased an engine to install into a customers aircooled VW. The first engine only lasted a few months. We removed it and found metal shavings in the filter. Larry at GEX said there was nothing wrong with it. Then later reversed his statement and sent another engine.

They claimed they would cover the labor to install another one. So we installed the 2nd engine. That lasted a few months before the same thing happened and the engine was knocking.

I called GEX and told them the the 2nd engine was noisy and that we still had not been reimbursed for the first engine.

So to get to the point, they sell junk engines, do not honor their warranty, and they are thieves. Now I'm stuck with a broken engine, lost wages,and an angry customer.

I have spoken with other VW repair shops that have had GEX rip them off. I will spread the word about Ripoffreport.com and hopefully GEX will pay up.
