GEX is a terrible company!
I purchased an engine from them, high performance 2275 cc engine, that has nevr worked right. First it was the carburators that came with the engine; could not be tuned. When I contacted Larry, the owner, all he gave me was lip service. After replacing the carbs at my own expense with Kadrons, the engine performed better. When I sent Larry the bill, as per Larry's request, he sent me a check for $12.00 to cover an $800 bill. What a joke!!! I just mailed him the check back. Now the enigne has a round cam lobe and Larry will not stand behind the engine! The engine has less than 1,000 miles on it and it has been babied all along.
My suggention to anyone looking for a VW engine is, stay away from this company!!!They have no respect for clients and do not have a clue as to what customer satisfaction or service is all about. It is a foreign concept to them. Tehy also do not stand behind what they sell.
