hostgator host gator Hostgator scam repeatedly takes down my sites without warning houston Texas

Hostgator has been an absolute joke for me and has been increasingly worse over the past 2 months. I've wasted so much time on customer support and 'fixing' the 'problems' on my sites that they blame for taking my sites down. I've done this so many times I've lost count and every time they take my sites down again or throttle it so badly (without warning) that even casual surfing is impossible. 

I have been forced to contact their customer service reps on average 1-2x per month for over a year because they have taken my sites down. They blame high CPU load and offer fixes but every time I implement their changes it has no effect. I've gone so far as to delete websites altogether and change all my sites from expressionengine to wordpress on their recommendations. Both were timely moves that I should never have done because I'm experiencing MORE problems since doing them and wasting more time on customer service calls or chats with hostgator. 

I've asked for a refund but they blame me. All you have to do is look on this site and their facebook page to see that these problems happen all the time. Don't believe the 'review sites' that they pay to rank themselves number 1....hostgator has been a complete and total scam for me.
