I place an order by phone with these people or a new dress. They say it was shipped out on July 2nd. They say to give it 6-10 working days, I did, on the 12th day I called becasue I had no dress yet. They said the following Thursday. I called then, they said to call the following day since according to them it hasn't reached 10 days yet,(because in their words, "the 4th of July is a 3 day holiday", ummm No, its not).

I call the next day (today) to be told to call next week and it's because the mail is slow. I ask for a tracking number, they say they don't have it, the post office doesn't do tracking numbers.

The dress is currently on their website as out of stock. They have not been helpful, and are constantly giving me the run around. It's been 16 days (from the day they shipped it) and still no dress. I will NEVER order from this company again. Save yourselves the aggravation and don't make the mistake I did.

If it shipped on July 2

AUTHOR: Nicole - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 09, 2006

If it shipped on July 2, that was a Sunday, no postal service, that monday was July 3rd, no postal service (weird government holiday stuff, so that there isn't a day off in the middle of the week) tuesday July 4th, no postal service. That means, it actually shipped July 5th. Now, 6-10 days might be lower 48 shipping. The postal service likes to take their sweet time with Alaska, as Im sure you know. Expect more like 10-15 days. Your comment was posted on the 10th WORKING DAY. Sorry, but blame USPS, not the website.

Lane Bryant is not Lanebyrantcatalogue.com

AUTHOR: Jamie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 09, 2006

This is a common mistake, one I've seen several times as an employee of Lane Byrant. Lanebryant.com and Lanebryantcatalogue.com are two completely separate companies, though, and always have been. I felt it better to tell you this because in the store I have many people who try to use lbcatalogue.com credit cards or coupons in the store and we are forced to politely decline their usage because they are not compatible with our systems.

This was really just for future reference, since I wouldn't want you to mistake the two companies.

Just one thing to keep in mind

AUTHOR: Jennifer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 24, 2003

I know it can be frustrating not to receive a piece of murchandise at the time you expect it, but one thing for Stacy to keep in mind is this: When a company states "6 - 10 working days" you have to exclude any holidays (ie. 4th of July) as well as Saturdays & Sundays, as these are not "working days". Also, we all know the US postal service isnt exactly known for thier speedy service. I recommend using alternate shipping methods. Most companies have the option for you to have your product shipped by UPS, FedEx, etc for a small fee & under normal circumstances you will recieve the item within 24-48 working hours. Just something to keep in mind. Thanks! :)
