Love Beal And Nixon holding 11502.39 of husbands school loans and medical deductable payment for surgery from savings Oklahoma City Oklahoma

Purchased a 2006 ford Explorer and was financed through Ford Motor Company. Vehicle had many mechanical break downs and could not get any satisfaction from Ford Motor so voluntarily returned it in. Vehicle was sold and there was a debit of about $8,000.00.

Love Beal and Nixon sucked up this account and began calling about getting paid. Tried to talk with them at first but they would not offer any solutions that we could give. My wife (who financed the vehicle) was and is unemployed due to poor health and with her medical bills plus 4 kids an 8000.00 lump payment was not possible. They did not care.

I am in school to further my education and receive school loans that were placed in my Oklahoma Employee Credit Union so it would be available as needed. Also have been making deposits from my paycheck because my wife needs surgery again and like the other 2 there will be a high deductable to pay out. All were due to cancer.

We received a letter in the mail 3/26/2010 then verified with my bank that the following money was on hold. 11,502.39. Broken down as 9825.51 interest bearing balance; 400.60 court costs not included in interest bearing balance; 1,276.28 Attorney fees not included in interest bearing balance; 11502.39 Total Garnishment amount.

The Garnishment Affidavit is dated 3/9/2010 and filed 3/18/2010. Ford Motor Credit Company is listed as Plaintiff and Love Beal and Nixon are claiming they are the attorneys for the plaintiff. We are going to try and file for an exemption 3/29/2010 at the court house and hope for the best. Any advice or should we just kiss the money goodbye?
