Attempted to return 2 Bright Effects  lamps #LBP15R30M2, which burned our after SIX MONTHS of MINIMAL use.

Local Lowes store could not find them in their computer system so they refused to give me credit for these lamps which were supposed to be good for SIX years

#2 Consumer Suggestion

Keep the original packaging, along with your reciept

AUTHOR: Southern Chemical and Equipment LLC - (USA)

I always keep the original packaging on anything like that, or at least the flat portion of cardboard, etc that has the "warranty" claim.

Also understand the difference between an advertising claim and an actual warranty.

I have seen many of these products with the 6 or even the 10 year claim on the package, but the actual "warranty" is different.

The other contributor is correct, you need to contact the manufacturer directly.

Returning lights

AUTHOR: Repair Tech - (United States of America)

As with most stores after a certain amount of time the defective product needs to be handled by the manufacturer especially after 6 months. I am sure if you contact the manufacturer you will get the problem resolved. products are not warranted by the stores, only by the manufacturer.
