Medi Restaurant rip-off; entice the diner with the description with no mention of price Miami Beach Florida
*Consumer Comment: High end restaurants are like High End Art Stores
The dining experience at Medi was ruined when the bill arrived and there was a $25 charge for a margurita and the special was $85. No mention of this was made by the waitress when we were offered these items. When challenged after the bill arrived the waitress said that she is instructed not to tell diners the prices of the specials. We left with a very bad taste in our mouths after this dining experience. We felt we were ripped off and the local management on the ground that evening would do nothing to address the issue. My suggestion-don't go to that restaurant unless you too want to be ripped off!

High end restaurants are like High End Art Stores

If you have to ask the price - you do not belong there.
People who can afford to dine at these places do not worry about prices - EVER.
Its never a concern so no need to publish prices.
I know because I have been in High End Art stores myself along the SF Wharf.
I knew immediately knew I was in the wrong store - because no prices were posted for any of the art work.
I did find another Art Store that did post pricing and I was able to buy some beautiful autographed lithographs - they were expensive - but the price was posted and I could afford what I was interested in.
The Art I did purchase has gone up in value since I purchased them 5 years ago- virtually paying for themselves with their increased value.
It will be wonderful to pass them on to my son.
