I recently received a collection notice from this company for a Southwestern Bell delinquent account for the for $320.00. I have been a Massachusetts resident all my life. Southwestern Bell does not cover my region. I assumed that this was error or just fraud. I contacted Merchant's via phone several times they suggested I send a letter. I contacted them 3 times for follow up and no resolution. Today I saw on your website the same situation with someone the in next town over from me. I became very angry and called Merchant's again and they explained that they recieved my letter the account is closed and I don not owe them or any of there affiliates any money.

The scary part is they have my social security number and I will be contacting my credit reporting agency to find out my rights.
