Encore Capital Group, Inc.; MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT Rude Collector Called Fishing For Information and Making False Statements Ripoff San Diego California

This company used an automatic dialing machine to call my home, and a collection agent named Colon, obviously foreign-born with a Middle-Eastern accent, demanded to talk to "Mitch." I was told that "Mitch" listed my phone number on a credit application.

The collection agent badgered me repeatedly, even after I told him I knew he was only fishing. He continued, "Why you hiding Mitch? You are wrong to hide Mitch."

Belligerently, he told me to come to San Diego and do something about it if I didn't want him calling me back.

I never found out who Mitch was, but my number is on the national Do Not Call list.

This company hires combative and unprofessional employees. Their training tactics are disreputable and they do not monitor their staff!
