Here is what Mr. Fix it is all about:
I looked up companies on craigslist this one in particular stood out to me, they were an actual company not just an individual so I felt they would be proffesionals. They also had numerous postings on there for multiple different things so I figured they must be pretty smart and or large.
I went up to the store to see about getting my playstation 3 yellow light of death fixed. I met this guy named tori that identified himself as a technician, a tech that used to work in the automotive sector but transfered over to electronics. He said that this mr fix it was the same mr fix it as the handyman company and the auto body company! (I found out very shortly after that tori is the owner! he falstly identified himself and lied about bieng connected to those other companies they arent connected at all he only has that one location!!)
Anyways he says that he can fix it for $65. I asked how much for a new case (mine is kinda rough) he said an extra 20.00 I said ok how long? 24-72 hours he says I said ok (he talks a really good game) then he asked for payment???? What? yes you have to pay CASH UPFRONT! This should have been a huge sighn SCAMMER DUMBA** but i didnt listen to myself. They have to be reputable to be open for 13 years (he claims) plus they are CERTIFIED wait are they? Ive never seen the proof! so I didnt listen just handed over the money. No tax ---should have been another sighn. IDIOT. Then he told me not to call for atleast 2 days...........24-72 hours its supposed to be ready????
This was 8-1-11 on 8-4-11 they call me and tell me they have put my bright shiny new case on my ps3 THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIX why the crap would you put the new case on there? anyways he gives me 3 stupid options and I try to ask him just a few simple questions but this guy im talking to (floyds brother, the other guy The Fake GM) not only cant carry an intelligent conversation but is ignorant and extremly rude! so I asked to speak to someone over him and he was insistant he was the General Manager and there was no one else, 5 minutes later he changes his tune and says hold on talk to this guy.
So Floyd gets on the phone and I ask him if he is over the other guy and he says he is the REAL GM........ so there is a real gm and a fake one! keep in mind there is only the owner and two other employees! anyways he says we no longer want to do buisness with you so there is going to be a $50.00 cancellation fee. I ask what does that mean? you are going to keep $50.00 of what I already paid then retun my property and the rest of the money? He said no, you owe us an aditional $50.00 and $25 dollars a day untill its picked up. CANCELATION FEE? WHAT HAVE I CANCELED?
so I called the police, to make a long story short the police said that it was illegal but it was cival not criminal and it would have to go to court. As the police are leaving tori shows up and apoligizes for his employees and tells me he will put in a refurbished hard drive for $50.00 wich is his cost, this guy sounds cincere and promises it will be ready by sat. so like an idiot I pay the guy the $50.00 sat comes sun,mon,tues,then on wesday they call and say come pickup your broken system, no refund just come get your system. when I get there the police are waiting for me and another guy with the same problem but on a computer really nice guy.
The policeman tells me he dosent like what he has to do but it is the law, I am on his property he dosent want me here so he has to give me a criminal tresspass warrant. But he also made them give me back my ps3 still broken and minus $135.00 but I got it back lol. The policeman from the first time I called told me that they are out there every single week for the same thing and there are 14 reported phone calls to the police office on record for the seven months of this year! Protect your selves use someone else! His BBB.org rating is an F with seven reports (8 after mine.)

Customer James Cunningham was a very interesting customer as reported by our staff to our legal department. Mr. Cunningham brought in his broken console to our store to be repaired. Hence the name Mr. Fix It. That being said Mr. Cunningham obviously being the bright individual he portrayed to be decided to do business on his accord with the store. Our store employees offered Mr. Cunningham repair service for his Sony Playstation 3 and informed him that component level repair would take place but would not be guaranteed. If the customer needed parts then the customer would have to pay for them once contacted. Customer would have (5) days to make payment once contacted if not would be deemed abandoned. Mr. Cunningham also stated that the top of his Playstation 3 was broken and wanted to replace it. Our Master Technician on site offered him a comparable one at a discount price. The customer was informed of how policy worked and how procedure was in place. Once his PS3 was diagnosed he would then be notified if it was fixed and ready for pickup or would need any additional parts. Customer signed the contract as store policy and was given a copy and left the store. Customers item unfortunately needed parts. Customer was then notified by one of our store associates that Mr. Cunningham needed parts and how much they would cost. Customer was also given a discount price from what he paid to check the Playstation 3 in. Mr. Cunningham from our notes we received from customer service began cursing and using profanity towards our employees, and technicians. Made threats and even tried to fight one of our employees. To prevent this Mr. Cunningham was denounced service and was informed that he would be closed out if he continued to make terroristic threats.Mr. Cunningham then made the decision to call the police and make false reports. Mr. Cunningham also started cursing and using profanity again at our employees at the store. Customer was then told the matter was civil and that if he wished to do anything he would have to pay cancellation of service as stated in his contract is $50.00. Customer changed his mind and still decided to do business with Mr. Fix It and paid an additional $65-85 dollars. The police left and Mr. Cunningham was given specific by the Master Technician on site to for further procedure. Mr. Cunningham did the exact opposite of what was asked of him. The mentally deficient individual kept calling and harassing the store employees and making terroristic threats and even wanted to get the news involved. The customer was then given a criminal trespass and was told not to return to the property. Customer was then closed out paid cancellation and was escorted by police off the property. A few days later the customer was back and flashed a gun at store employees and was taking pictures of the store. Customer then drove off once the police were notified. A few days later the customer was found prowling at another property of our store. Mr. Cunningham was asked to vacate the property immediately or local authorities were to be notified. Mr. Cunningham refused and tried to pursue one of the employees and assault him. Customer then went to his vehicle and retrieved a gun. Customer once confronted another individual and waited for the police. Once the police arrived customer was then put to the ground and was held by authorities. Customer also had Channel 2 Action News show up and try to get a false cover story against the store. Customer was denied and was put back on the ground. Another past customer made false reports to the news and Channel 2 displayed them. all individuals involved including Channel 2 News will be sued and persued by the corporation for slander of business and false reports. Both customers ultimately were given criminal trespasses and will be paying any additional fees they owe. Including any legal fees that may occur. Thank you Mr. Fix It Legal Department
