  I prepaid for 3 laptop computers on March 9 2011 @ Mr. Fix It  computers being told I could pick them up in 24-72 hours. It has been over 8 months of lies,saying they need a little more time. I have called numerous times and even showed up several times to be told the same bs that its a vender not shipping or the ones received were no good and had to be shipped back.

  I was even told by Torry that 2 was ready and waiting on power cord for 3rd. Then he tells me those were sold to someone else!!!!

  Come on Torry, really? 8 months to receive 3 laptops? If there  really is master tech these could have been built in 3 days and had a satisfied customer. The only master these guys are is of deceiving their customers. I have practically begged them to get this resolved . The customer service consist of 3 guys, Torry,Floyd and Rico, which is possibly not even their real names. This so called "upstanding" customer service has lied to me, hung up on me, and constantly is apologizing for the other lies switching blame from one to the next claiming it's all a misunderstanding.

 Misunderstanding is one thing but when you take money up front for a product and can't or will not produce the product in said time frame or any reasonable time frame, and then refuse to give a refund then that is not a misunderstanding,,, that is theft in anyone's view. These guys are very good at smooth talking the problem over empty promises to satisfy you for a moment.

  Now the good part. I went down yesterday, 11/3/11 to ask one more time for my money to be refunded.. I was told point blank I was not getting a refund!! I left their store went next door and called police. I am not someone seeking repairs on anything, I paid for a product not delivered !!! The police agreed and the 2 employees were arrested  and all this is on tape. As we was there several other victims of this scamming business showed up and also talked to police.

I also received a call from Torry verifying if I called police, I said yes and he said Quote, "I have a new way to fix you" I take it as a threat but why is he threatening me when he is the one in the wrong. All I asked for was my merchandise, or my refund, seems pretty cut and dry to me. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the judge says as I am also filing a grievance with BBB and a civil suit  to cover ALL my losses.

  I received a call fro Mr. Fix It this morning at 12:17 pm. instructing me not to come back on their property or call or I will be given a criminal trespass.  THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY!!! I should have every right to call and come by to get my money!!  We will have a day in court and I don't see any way out of this for them. I have my receipt and police report filed.

To all victims of Mr. Fix it.. There is a fine line between what is considered Civil and Criminal.. Get police report and go to Clayton County Magistrate and pay $20 dollars and file a criminal theft by conversion or theft by deception!! Also file Civil if it's worth the additional $97 on top of what you already lost. They want to throw legal department at us lets throw it right back with a real lawyer" the judge" and let the judicial system take care of Mr Fix IT.  They are clearly in the wrong and need to be punished. You have a receipt so you have proof!  AS for you Mr.  Herbert Tormar White Perkins  You said for me not to call or come back up to your shop, therefore as of today 11/10/11 an order has been filed and you are not to email me from your so called legal department Mr. Torry Thinks he's wise, I'm not an idiot. Do not call me, I will see you in a court of real law not computer Lawpro real soon.  No need for you or your "customer service" to contact me again!  Anyone else who needs info contact through channel 5 I team. I'm putting this to rest. Contact me again before we go to court and I will go back with harassment!!!! I'm not scared of your legal department.

What a total RIPOFF company.  Liars and scammers.

Mr. Simpson and others scammed by them...good luck getting satisfaction out of them.

The actions of their employees when confronted by the police was a pretty good indication of their attitude toward their customers, I mean "victims." They have the responses of people with criminal records,

The video said the police were called to the business by irate customers more than 40 times in the last year.

I can't stop laughing.

Where was this "Mr. Fix It Legal" when the television news crew was videotaping the CEO and another employee being arrested?  LMAO!!!

Why would any employee of a legitimate company give the police a FALSE NAME?

The CEO claimed he didn't hit a cameraman's video camera, but the "instant reply" clearly shows he did!

It's pretty hard to argue with HD video.

Perhaps your "legal department" (yeah right, we believe that!) should spend more time at the store than posting rebuttals on the internet.

Yes, I had earlier dealings with Mr.Fix It and the only reason I got my serviced laptop back was I didn't prepay for it to be repaired. Payment plan? No Torry called on a Wednesday and I explained to him I had a job to do Friday and would be there on a Saturday to pick it up and he tried to tell me if I didn't pick it up on time it would be deemed abandoned and be kept. Then he replaced a screen on my laptop. Yes it still works but the lid and base do not match up and will not lock closed, so I didn't bring it back because I can live with this. Now as far as the problem now.. I PAID IN FULL FOR 3 LAPTOPS AND NEVER RECEIVED THEM AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A REFUND WAS DENIED. I have a receipt stamped paid. there is no extra charges or any other fees, this is Mr. Fix It's way of saying they are wrong and have to try to cover their a*s. Let's just see what a judge says and go from there. If the company would uphold all there responsibilities to their customers there wouldn't have been all this. Mr. Fix It is clearly in the wrong and it can be more than proven ,end of story. Half truths and fancy words can't cover up the scam!!!!!! Oh btw for it to be slander it has to be untrue, good luck with that, grow up.

Customer Complaint Case: Lamar Simpson

Customer identified as Lamar Simpson from his previous complaint is one of Mr. Fix It's very interesting customers. Mr. Simpson has previously done business with our company as informed by the companies Master Technician on site.Mr. Simpson signed a service contract like every customer agrees to. Mr. Simpson had several laptops that were worked on and repaired. Never called back with a problem concerning his repair or anything. Mr. Simpson even owed a balance that he had to be placed on a payment plan to afford. Mr. Simpson then placed an order with the company for three laptops that he owes a balance on that he never paid.The customer was also made aware that as stated in that contract that he signed that WITH ANY ORDER ISSUES COMPUTRONICS MAY OR MAY NOT OFFER A COMPARABLE PRODUCT EXPECTED DATE OF ARRIVAL IS ONLY AND ESTIMATE. So all this business of he was promised a date is false accusation. Mr. Simpson also agreed to the terms as stated in his contract that he agrees to pay any additional fees. As stated in the contract that PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANYTIME WITH OR WITHOUT YOUR NOTICE, and that BY SIGNING BELOW YOU ARE ALSO IN AGREEMENT TO ALLOW COMPUTRONICS AND OR ITS AFFILIATES TO CHARGE ADDITIONAL FEES WITHOUT YOUR CONTACT OR APPROVAL TO IMPROVE SPEED OF SERVICE! UPON ADDITIONAL NON-PAYMENT COURT/LEGAL FEES WILL ALSO BE ADDED TO BALANCE. Contract also states that ALL SALVES/SERVICE FEE'S ARE FINAL. SERVICE INTERRUPTION FEE IS$25 FOR ALL SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS!!! Mr. Simpson was made aware that there is a contract in place and that he must abide by the terms and conditions that he signed. Mr.Simpson also was informed of policy and procedure. Mr. Simpson was informed what he already paid could be used as store credit and that the remaining balance he owes must be paid. Customer refused and decided to call the police on a civil matter..thinking that he would get a sense of satisfaction of what? I don't know. Customer still owes a balance and any other fees that may apply. As stated in the contract that he signed. Customer will also be dealing with Mr. Fix It Legal Department for slandering the company name and any other legal fees and balance that he owes.
