I am frustrated from the reply recieved from netzero. I have never selected the number (650)900-1700 for which I have been billed by local SBC company. Netzero has given the following reply without checking there own document. This is intolerable behavior by the netzero. Firstly, dialing the non-selected number and than insisting this number is selected by me. I expect you to investigate the error made by netzero and reimburse these charges to me immediately. If you want me to continue your service. This rip off by netzero is not understood. Thanks.

>Dear Kirpal,
>
>Thank you for your inquiry regarding long distance access number charges incurred as a result of using NetZero.
>
>NetZero does not auto-select its members? access numbers. The software will only dial a number that is chosen by the member during the access number setup and selection process. The reason that we ask a member to manually select an access number is so they can ensure the number is a local call. Due to the many different telephone calling plans in circulation, NetZero can only provide members with access numbers that appear to be local - we cannot guarantee that toll or long distance charges will not be incurred through the use of such numbers. Because of this, we ask that members confirm that every access number chosen is local by calling their telephone company or operator.
>
>NOTE: When you contact your telephone company or operator, please provide them with the phone number you are dialing from, as well as the phone number you are dialing to (the NetZero access number). Do not rely on just the city name, as this is not an accurate way of determining whether or not you are making a local call.
>
>Additionally, Section 2.0 of NetZero's Terms of Service states the following: "BY ACCEPTING THE ACCESS NUMBERS DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS OR USING ACCESS NUMBERS YOU MAY OTHERWISE SELECT, YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TELEPHONE CHARGES RELATED TO ACCESSING OUR SERVICES AND NETZERO WILL NOT REIMBURSE YOU FOR ANY SUCH CHARGES INCLUDING LONG DISTANCE OR TOLL CHARGES."
>
>Due to the above information, we are unable to provide reimbursement as a result of long distance access number charges.
>
>Sincerely,
>
