Oakwood Acceptance Corporation Child Has Asthma caused by molding insulation Tuscaloosa Alabama

My husband and I bought our mobile home from Oakwood Homes in Tuscaloosa, AL. We thought we were getting a deal in the home. However, we were wrong! The movers slid off into a ditch while moving up our driveway. After we got moved in, we made a list of all the things we noticed that were wrong because that is what the salesman said to do and it would be fixed. A few of the problems were fixed.

However, the biggest problem was not. A leak at the back sliding glass door where they hit a tree from moving it up the driveway when they slid off into the ditch. And also a leak obviously between the interior and exterior walls along the front of the home. The wall along the front is paper thin, mold is coming from behind the wall all along the front and the floor is bulking in the kitchen.

I had called several times to remind the service man to come back to fix (probably left 10 messages at least). Finally when I called back after 3 months of leaving messages, a different salesman had to take my call and said You have had the home too long for us to come back to fix. After I left all those messages and had left a list taped to the door for the service man to see all the repairs that needed to be made.

Now, for the worst part. I have a 3 year old child whom was perfectly healthy. Since we moved into the home in August 2002, He developed ASTHMA about 2 1/2 months after moving in. The DR. feels probably from mold. But how in the world can I prove that this caused his asthma and that the problems were already there. I feel so guilty that we have to live in this home now because we have no other choice due to finances. If anyone can help, please call or email.
