Penn Foster is a rip off don't go there waste of time and money Scranton , Pennsylvania

I recently quit Penn Foster High School

I was accused of plagerism in my writing skills part one and two.

This can't be true especially when I wrote about my own life. I don't think this school is for anyone that has a sincere hope to finish their exams. In my opinion only I can only speak for myself I feel that they are all about money. asking for more and more instead of actually helping a student.I didn't like the abuse I got and the teachers are of no help. Colleges need to re-consider their accredidation. I agree with the other person saying the same thing. In fact I too enrolled in a GED Program at the community colege, I am going to tell them my experience with this dreadful school as well, Acutally I was never told about the hidden charges they have with the little extras they charged when you failed an exam. Now that I was enrolled I was told that I have to pay fifty dollars per book over again, to me this is cheating people. and it's unfair to others when they go in with an honest attempt to try. I took this course because it was easier at home for me, but now I will go and do it the way others do.

I undertand I may not be all that great at writing , and I am sure that i've made a few mistakes in typing this, but that's not the point. I felt like I tried and all they wanted was more and more money out of me, getting it anyway they can I read recently about how they should lose their accredidation by another person, I couldn't agree more at this point. I know I tried and I did well on most but I am NOT  a cheater I am 42 and just wanted to try and get another chance, I am sorry it didn't work out for me . I wish you all well that it did for you, however, I do plan to dispute this over charged bill for something I DONT  have proof that I have and can't use for anything.

as with the other reports i've read I saw where it said they were so fast to close out the acct rather than try to fix it wih the student, I have to say I agree with them on that one. this is only my opinion and I will never recommend this school to anyone I know, word of mouth is the best way, and I have absolutely nothing good to say about them, I saw a nasty response on someone else's report where they said "Ever heard of Capitalization? that's not what this is about . so please pass me by if you are going to be nasty to me.I do not need any advice on how to type a complaint and if it's the school's pals that are doing it, I can see why. I did well on my other tests , maintained an 86 , failed a couple of courses, but I still tried no  I am not perfect but I CAN  say that i am not a plagerist either, I wish you all well that have had good experiences with the school, for others like me I wish you luck on getting your GED .
