PeopleFinders.com Veromi.net Lost $49.90 Internet

I lost $49.90. I knew when I first went to the peoplefinders.com site that I needed to be careful about the payments and I still got stuck with a recurring charge. I missed the first charge beyond the charge I expected, but saw a charge for $24.95 on my bank statement today.

However, I called and they said they cancelled the automatic payments and sent me a confirming email. I hope this charge has stopped. So, I paid $74.85 for something I thought would be $24.95 and I specifically tried to avoid all such automatic billings.

Needless to say I will never use PeopleFinders.com again and warn others -- stay away.
