peoplefinders.com SCAM!! They sell you a $0.95 useless rpt and then charge you $24.95 a few days later Internet

I've bought a $0.95 report a few days ago from peoplefinders.com.

It turned out that the report was useless with old and outdated data. This was not a big deal and I managed to get the info through other means.

What was unnaceptable is the second charge of $24.95 that showed up in my credit card a couple of days later.

When I called to complain, the rep said I did not cancel the subscription that automatically started when I purchased the report and that the charge is legitimate.

There were no emails reminding the customer that this was happening or even when the charge was made!

I accept that I should have read fine prints more carefully but the fact is that the whole service is created to lure people into buying their $1 reports so they can charge their steep fees later without any notice.

This is a bad business practice, unethical. a scam!!!
