S.A.R. & Associates called in November and said I owed money for a payday loan I got online in 2013 Ft. Lauderdale Florida

I received a call on August 13 stating I owed 1200 to an online payday loan service. They could settle for 800 and I could make 100 dollar a month payments.

They would send me a letter after it was paid in full to send to the credit bureau. I really thought my ex had gotten this payday loan without my knowledge so I believed the man on the phone.

I had given him my checking account information and they had received the 100 in November. When it came to December payment it took a little longer to get than what they thought. The representative of the company called and left me a voicemail and told me the payment wasn't processing fast enough so he needs my debit card number. I tried to call him back at the number he left and it was disconnected so I got the letter out that I had received in the mail from them and the number on there was also disconnected. I called my back immediately and put a stop payment on this payment forever from this company.
