Sears Auto rip-off! They did not complete the work I was charged for. Greeley Colorado

At the sears auto center in Greeley, CO at the Greeley Mall I was getting a battery check. Auto stores offer this service for free, but I thought doing this at Sears for a $9 fee, the check might be better. I was very wrong.

They hook up the battery to make sure it is working correctly and is in good condition. They are supposed to clean the battery connectors and replace the felt pads to prevent corrosion. About a week later I began to have problems with my car being able to start and stay running.

Come to find out, the problem was due to poor battery connections. Sears did not do what I had paid them to do. Yes they tested in with the machine but they were so busy that day they did not bother to take it apart to clean it or to put on the felt pads.

They are also disrespectfull to your car. They dont place any protection for them to sit on. They dont cover the steering wheel either. I had an expensive sheepkin cover which got riuned from oil stains.

Needless to say, I will never go there again. I suggest that no one else go there either unless they want to be ripped off. Maybe it is just because I am a "stupid" woman.
