SellandRecycle is a corrupt place that steals phones, and claims that they "recycle" phones/tablets when in reality they SELL THEM to much higher prices at ebay.

I send a LIKE NEW Blackberry 9800 (a 104.50 value) but they offer me $68 (in fair condition), and later found out that they sold my phone for over $150 dollars at ebay.

PLEASE I urge all of you to STOP SELLING YOUR CELL PHONES/TABLETS at sellandrecycle (sell your items on other u-sell companies OR at ebay/craiglist). Do not give the selfish, cheap a*s Founder any more of our cell phones. They do not recycle, they sell them for much higher prices.

I have proof.

seller's remorse

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, August 02, 2012

You changed your story. I proved your claim to be false so now you're whining about the payment terms. There are no laws limiting the amount of profit that a merchant or reseller is permitted to gain from a transaction. Next time post your own eBay ad instead of paying someone else to do it for you. You are suffering from seller's remorse. Move on.

Yes, they are a SCAM

They are corrupt. They never send back phones because they sell them ahead of time (even before sending people's check), and the ones that they keep are the broken phones, but refuse to send them back to the company (unless they pay a FEE, which is not stated at their terms & conditions).

& Also, yes merchants need to make a profit, but NOT a 90% profit. That's a scam. Come on, open your eyes...they are a RIP OFF COMPANY.

I hope they go out of business

They do not appear to be corrupt

Excerpt from the FAQs on the SellandRecycle web site:

"What does SellandRecycle do with the items?"

"SellandReycle is a green and envirnomentally aware company. To prevent unnecessary waste to the envirnoment, we either recycle your item or auction it to other companies or people that will reuse it."

They clearly state that they resell phones. A merchant has the right to buy and sell merchandise at any price they choose. The buyer has the right to refuse the offer. If the customer agrees to the terms there is no rip off unless the merchant does not honor those terms.

"they sell them for much higher prices"

It's called profit. That's not corrupt.
