What a Scam !!  Stanley Warranty underwrites with Universal Administrator Services to handle any claims you might have. We have been going back and forth with Stanley Warranty and UAS to try to get a lousy $310.10 back for repairs we paid for out of pocket.

Stanley Warranty will take your money (in our case $953 for an annual contract), then they turn you over to Universal Administrators to file a claim. They promise they have technicians and repair companies all over the Nation, yet they could not find anyone for us in Kewaunee, WI. We had to find a repair company for our garage door & Maytag washer. Then they make you call them to give them the information and "authorize" the repairs. You have to call the company back to set up an appointment for repair, and pay them yourself. Then, good luck getting your money back. The total repairs (including parts, truck charges, travel expense and labor) was $377.26. The UA Claims person (Yvonne Adams) authorized $310.10.

After months back and forth with both Stanley Warranty (who promised they would notify UA) and Universal Administrators, we finally reported both companies to the BBB in their respective states. Finally, six weeks after filing the complaint, we received a check from UA for $166.27. When we sent a negative response to the BBB of KY about the amount, their response was "that was all that was authorized, based on their contract".

Stanley Warranty's response to the BBB of NJ was they could not help, and were filing a law suit against Universal Administrators.

Stay away from Stanley Home Warranty and Universal Administrator Services !!
