I purchased a watch from SteinhausenOvernight.com on the 16th of Dec. 2008. The watch arrived on the 24th of Dec. 2008 just in time for a Christmas present.

The watch was defective from the get go, as it failed to keep time, day or date accurately.

I emailed the Co. as their website claims to have a 45 day return policy.

My first 7 emails went unanswered.

Finally after doing some digging and calling them I obtained a 2nd email address which upon emailing, received an email from the owner Dave Long along with a RMA# (return merchandise authorization)and directions as to how to return the watch for a refund.

I followed their instructions to a T. I was told in that email that as soon as the watch was mailed and I provided them with a tracking number, A refund would immediately be given.

I emailed them the tracking number along with the RMA#. I have since emailed them another 12-15 times and have gotten NO RESPONSE. NO REFUND or NO REPLACEMENT. I called the number listed for them and SURPRISE SURPRISE no-one answered.

After reading the RIP-OFF report found another phone number and got hooked up with an answering machine and although I left a message do not expect a call back.

This guy has mastered the art of stalling and his failure to respond to this many emails regarding customer service is incredible. Keep in mind that I have purchased 3 watches from these jokers and this is the kind of service they give a repeat customer ? The watches are fine but this company is maybe the most non-responsive group I have ever dealt with.

Anyone interested in a Steinhausen watch should NOT BUY FROM Steinhausen Overnight

After reading the complaints already posted and having had experience with Dave Long, your money would be safer in a slot machine..

I do not expect to hear from Mr. Long after this complaint however I am now trying to contact the BBB in his home state and I am considering my legal options. I know it probably does not make sense to spend good money trying to recover what amounts to about $100.00 but I am funny like that and being a honest businessman like myself, cannot tolerate those who run their businesses like this guy does.

I am sure that Dave Long reads these reports as he has tried un-successfully to rebutte some of the complaints I have read so Dave, "READ THIS".

I own a business in Boston Ma. and unless this situation is taken care of,will tell all who will listen that your company SteinhausenOvernight.com is not the place to spend their money and will continue to explore every option to either recover my money or at least prevent others from getting ripped off like I have.
