ON AUGUST 1, 2001 I HAD ORDERED A SAMPLE CRATE THAT WAS LISTED AS BEING AN ASSORTMENT OF ITEMS FROM EACH CATAGORY LISTED TO SEE THE QUALITY OF PRODUCTS THAT SWAPSELLTRADE.COM HAD TO OFFER FOR $249.00 AND PAID AT THAT TIME BY AN ELECTRONIC CHECK. THIS CHECK CLEARED MY BANK ON AUGUST 9, 2001.

I HAD NOT RECIEVED MY MERCHANDISE BY AUG 22, 2001 SO I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER ON THE RECIEPT I HAD PRINTED OUT AT THE TIME I HAD ORDERED. I STARTED TO ASKE QUESTIONS ON WHEN I SHOULD RECIEVE MY ORDER AND HOW THERE POLICIES WORK THE MAN BECAME QUITE RUDE WITH ME AND HE THEN TOLD ME HE WOULD REFUND MY MONEY AND DID NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH ME.

TWO DAYS LATER I RECIEVED THREE BOXES OF LOONEY TUNE DESK LAMPS (18 TOTAL LAMPS) WITH NO INVOICE NO ADDRESS. I THOUGHT MORE BOXES WOULD BE COMING BECAUSE THIS IS NO AN ASSORTEMENT OF MERCHANDISE.

IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS SINCE I HAD TRIED TO GET AHOLD OF SWAPSELLTRADE TO SEE HOW WE CAN HANDLE THIS PROBLEM AND MY HUSBAND FINALLY GO THROUGH TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY WANT ME TO SEND THE MERCHANDISE BACK WITH A 20% RESTOCKING FEE AND TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR ANOTHER PURCHASE.

I DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ONE HE TOLD ME HE WOULD REFUND MY MONEY BECAUSE I WAS ASKING ABOUT MY ORDER AND BECAME RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS AND I DID NOT GET WHAT I ORDERED IN THE FIRST PLACE, WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR A RESTOCKING FEE FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT ORDER AND TO CHANCE THAT IF I ORDER SOMETHING ELSE HE PULLS THE SAME THING?

Avoid these company cheates

I live next door to the individuals one the owner Ethan. When I went to his apartment with a neighbor kid he let me inside. At that time I found he had a police scanner on 24 hours a day and cameras all over his house even out to the parking lot. Even a camera in his bedroom.



I thought that was awful strange and what was he running possibly a sex website or something and why have a police scanner. Also when I was there he explained that I could get wholesale merchandise for my flea market business, but chose otherwise when he explained that I would have to wire money to his account with the first order, but not after that. This should be a red flag to everyone not to wire money when ordering something.



Also when I was there he got a phone call from an angry person and hung up on them. I asked what was that about. He explained that the buyer was not happy with the items he received and explained that alot of items were broken. Also explaining that the customer would never hear from him again.



Now is this a way to run a business no another red flag. You are a victim of a rip off salesman so wondering why you have not got merchandise from this person is out of the question so join the federal law suit involving this person Ethan filed by a customer with a lawyer in Hillsboro Oregon.
