I was trying to make some extra money by selling on Ebay, when I saw the ad on swapselltrade.com for 7 For All Mankind jeans. It said they were liquidations from Bloomingdales and still had the Bloomingdales tags on them. They were $44 each.

I've never heard of the brand so I checked them out on ebay. It turns out they were really popular and they were selling for about $60 on average, so I bought ten pairs.

I recieved them 3 weeks later and as soon as they sold I ordered 40 more pairs for $1453.80. I was feeling good about my order when I started recieving feedback questioning the authenticity.

I just brushed it off because I never thought there was such thing as counterfeit jeans. I just thought the buyer was unsatisfied with the fit or something.
After I recieved my large order, I quickly posted all 40 pairs on Ebay. A few days I recieved more feedback on my original ten about the jeans being fakes and eventually my Ebay account was suspended and all my listing removed. My fees are now due immediatly on all my removed listings which will total over $100.

After further investigation on my part it turns out counterfeit Jeans are a big problem especially for 7 For All Mankind jeans on Ebay and the internet.

Five days later I cannot get a hold of customer service and my Ebay business is shut down because swapselltrade.com sold me counterfeit merchandise and Im out over $1400. I just hope there is no legal action against me.

I finally got a hold of Sandy (customer service rep whom I spoke with in the past). She said Joe agreed to give me a full refund, except return shipping and waive the restocking fee. I guess we'll see what happens. He probably realizes this is a potential lawsuit for selling counterfeit merchandise.
