Telecheck Denied By Telecheck For Code 3 No Reason Denied check payment for single new tire at American Tire Depot, just abter I had made a deposit to my checking account during banking hours. Orange California

After making a deposit in my local bank during banking hours, I noticed that my front tire was low. I drove two blocks into the American Tire Depot to check the tire which came off the rim when I stopped. I purchased a replacement tire and proceeded to pay by check. Telecheck printed a Code 3, Denial Record for no reason. I was shocked and embarrassed. I have never written a fraudulent check. The store used my bank debit card to complete the transaction and told me that I was on the Telecheck system and would not be able to write a check anywhere.

I went home and called their 800 number but was given no reason for this code three. The automated system stated that there were no negative reasons for the Code 3. I also reviewed othr complaints on the internet against Telecheck and was alarmed at their arbitrary power over my banking business. They want you to send them your driver's license copy and your bankng information so that they can further invade your private busiess. I called my bank to alert them to any false communications from Telecheck. This is outrageous invasion of my personal business. The public needs to be protected from Telecheck.
