Telecheck Services, Inc TRS Recovery Services, Inc E-Check Transaction Ploy Houston Texas

Do not make any purchases when the business uses Telecheck Services, Inc to approve your check.  They seem to be randomly identifying checks as as a failed transaction and then either reporting to credit bureaus or getting more info from you and then charging you for that "failed" transaction.  I used Telecheck for an Amazon purchase for the FIRST time, thinking it was like using PayPal - my checking account was rejected - three reasons were cited - not enough money in the account (VERY wrong), the bank made some sort of change at the exact time I made my purchase (wrong again - I called my small local bank to verify) or I entered the wrong account number and bank routing number (that would have been the first time I ever did that and I am 61 years old and use internet banking for almost all my transactions).  

My research shows that this company has already been sued and had to pay over 3 million for fraudulent credit reporting . . .this is a collections agency masquerading as a "check acceptance service" - they pretend you didn't give them the correct info - then they get it from you (again) and then they charge your account a service fee.  I am refusing to respond to them - I am trying to work directly with Amazon to pay for my purchases with my credit card - I will be filing a complaint with a state's attorney if I do not get satisfaction - and I will never purchase from Amazon again even with a credit card - the fact that they use this corrupt company does it for me.  

If you check the internet, it is clear that there are thousands of people being affected by this company - everything from embarrassment to wrecked credit scores.  I hope some attorney reads this and is able to put together a class action suit.  

I will write to ripoffreport again to report any progress (or lack of) regarding this situation.
