I had timewarner hook up roadrunner at my apt. It didn't work worth a darn. Slow, getting knocked off etc. so after 6 months i cancelled it.

A few months later a friend told me maybe it was the box they gave me. He had to takes his back 3 times before rr worked right. So I decided to try it again. The tech that came to hook it up told me the cable coming into my apt. had such a weak signal he could not hook up rr because it would not run right. He said the cable would have to be replaced or upgraded. Said they would get back to me but never did.

My complaint is ---why didn't the first tech that came to hook up rr know that the signal was too weak to hook it up? I paid 6 months for service that I never got. Called to complain and was told they would investigate the matter. Haven't heard any more from them.

well for one thing i am not computer literate. besides that when i sent an e-mail asking what i could do, they said they would investigate the problem and get back to me. when i called, they said the same thing. STILL waiting to hear from somebody. in stead of saying why did i wait 6 months, how about taking some kind of action and fix the problem.

Why did you wait six months

Did you ever do any kind of speedtest or call tech support at all? If you had called me I would've checked the levels immediately and then sent someone out to fix the problem. It sounds like you put up with it for six months and then got pissed that it wasn't magically fixed.
