Ugly Duckling / Drivetime Customer Service is non-existent and "thuglike". the business that doesnt give a dam Costa Mesa California

My experience is similar to those I have read. My credit sucks, but I needed a car. Ugly Duckling was able to work with me. I gave them a pretty hefty down ($3000.00) and ended up with a van for $9000.00 that ended up totalling $12,000.

I have not had problems with the van, we like it alot. I was never under the impression their mechanics were worth the effort so I have never brought it back there for work.

My issue was this: I was out of work and got behind on my payments. I am now trying to work this out to bring my account current. However, the person assigned to my account has been calling and harrassing my, my wife, my mother-in-law on the phone (whoever he could get ahold of). He even called at work, yelled at me there and then hung up.

This person's name is Art. This was all done at this Costa Mesa Office. This is my mess to take care of, but basically, I wanted to warn people away from this dealership if they are in the area. They are horrible people to work with.

I am now dealing with a mediator out of the coporate office who has taken my complaint. Of course they can't switch my account to a different office where they don't employ "thugs", so all I can really do is complain.

My stupid fault, my stupid problem to clean up, but do yourself a favor and don't do business with these people!
