Universal Gas & Electric suggested that current gas prices were most likely going higher over the next few months, and that Universal Gas would lock in an amount of 1.049 per ccf in order to save me money. Southfield Michigan

The company representatives come to your door, review your DTE Gas and Electric bills and advise you that your are a perfect candidate for their locked in price of 1.049/Ccf to insure you will not end up paying excessively high prices for your gas over the next 5 years. I am a senior citizen, and on a Social Security fixed income. Because of the high costs of utilities and everything else now, fixed income persons are extreemly vulnerable to fast talking salespersons promising them any kind of relief from the high cost of living.

I believe Universal Gas and Electric to be nothing more than a greedy, cold company that takes advantage of people, especially those that are the most vulnerable. I only hope that there is some power that can help me, and others like me, make the contract with Universal Gas and Electric null and void and return my charges back to the considerably lower charge issued by DTE for the gas supplied to my home.
