US Bank is a fraud! They are cheating there customers. I found they are not following the new federal law and putting any extra amount you pay on your credit cards to the highest interest rates first! I will be filing a complaint with the Federal government i know if they have done it to me then they have done it to millions. I would never use this bank ever again. Check your statements! Im sure a lawsuit will be coming against these greedy punks.

Sauce indeed "I am the Law"..
AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, January 06, 2011
I don't think it is because I am back on the sauce because I never was on any sauce.
But the issue here has nothing to do with any sauce.
To answer your question, yes, I probably "skimmed" your last reply because I would expect it to be nonsense.
So, if I understand what you are saying here..is you intentionally let your account go negative (which I think is called overdrafting) for the purpose of determining if you would be charged 10 bucks?
If this is the case you are an idiot..why risk 10 bucks when all you needed to do was read your terms and conditions? Or was it too confusing perhaps so you needed to conduct a "test" by wasting your money?
If I misunderstood anything kindly reply back and explain it. It would be nice to determine if the reason you did this is because I am on any sauce, or, you are not capable of understanding how your bank conducts business.

Quick question, Ronny....

Quick question, Ronny. Did you just skim my last ROR and miss all the detailsor are you just being facetious? (or are you back on the sauce?)
You said,"Do not be a DEADBEAT overdrafter, and you won't have to worry about the fee. Or read the terms and conditions like a normal human and if you do not find them satisfactory, find another bank and stop trying to blame everyone else for your personal shortcomings as a human being".
Come on, now. Those are my lines; but nicely quoted nonetheless.
But, going under the assumption that you missed something in my last post, let me clarify something about it....
I didn't overdraw my account. (In fact, I've never overdrawn my account.) I intentionally let my balance go negative so it would tap into my reserve line.(You know, reserve lines.... those things overdrafters never bother applying for?)Then, I could determine if the newreserve line activation fee of $10would be assessed.
Ronny, if you're going to get into a debate with someone, at least try to pay attention to what they're saying.
Some people........

Thanx to overdrafters....

A few weeks ago, I received a change in account terms notice from USB in the mail. It said that "in response to new governmental policies" (or something like that), USB was now imposing a base $10 fee on OD protection reserve lines (ON TOP of any interest accrued) if it activates due to your account going negative. Until now, if I would've used that reserve line, it would have only cost me the principal and interest; just like a small loan. Now, I'll be subject to a fee as well. I actually allowed my account to go about $42 negative to see if I personally would be subject to this new policy. Well, it looks like I am. There it was on my online statement; I had to pay back the $42, a few cents in interest, and got hit with the new $10 fee.
In other words, since our socialist, chain smoking president has taken it upon himself to coddle the stupid, overdrafting populace of America, the banks are now trying to recoup those lost funds in other ways. So, in this case, imposing a fee on a product that formerly didn't have one.
You "I Am The Law" fans will remember a few months back that I warned everyone that if the banks couldn't charge overdraft fees as they have in the past, that they'd soon somehow pass the liability onto good customers. Well people, I wish I was wrong, but unfortunately, I wasn't. So, get ready for higher interest rates on credit cards, less than favorable loans and mortgages, and lower payouts on CD's, investment portfolios, and savings accounts.
Thanks, overdrafting scum of America. I appreciate the fact that everyone else has to pay for your screw ups.

Overreacting

I think you're overreacting just a bit.
Did you ever think they just made an error? Your report doesn't even say that you tried to contact them. Calm down. If it's an error, I'm sure they can fix it.
