I typed in my information on a dispute for a credit report at the library and I was shoulder surfed for my SSN. Then they gave me a final date for dissolution of my issues and they stole my printout temporarily to get the reference number off the page and my full name. The printout is available at the library desk coincidentally after they lift the information. So you have all these miscreants walking around getting away with invasion of privacy, identity theft, misrepresentations, data injections on recorded databases, and reputation splintering.

These people who offer these services should be highly regulated and the person doing the background investigation should be investigated first. Another thing is that there should be a law against doing a background investigation without a persons' permission.

There are other companies out there also who offer these kinds of services. There are problems with reports many times as there are a lot of errors and also they contain information where a person has extenuating circumstances.

These shallow data banks which consist of petabytes of information of people should have a class action suit filed against them for the many inequities they cause people.

Think about the final conclusion I have, its like when a person goes into a gun dealer to buy a gun, this kind of legislation should be passed against these searches as this service and many others like it can put people in physical and mental danger.

I would ask an attorney to contact me to enjoin others to file a significant class action lawsuit against these companies.
