Vitalchek Payed for a Product that I did not receive Internet

Vitalchek claims to provide a variety of government documents such as Birth and Death Certificates without the necessity of going through the various state or county agencies. For this So Called Service they charge a great deal more than you would normally pay the state or county department.

What they Don't tell you, nor do they take responsibilty for, is the fact that what you are trying to obtain may not even exist. This is a gross misrepresentation of what they claim to provide.

I payed over $72 for a copy of my Grand Fathers Birth Certificate. I was told that I would receive expedited delivery of this document. After two weeks I received a first class letter from the state of Michigan that the RECORD DOES NOT EXIST. Direct communication with Vitalchek is very difficult and they accept no responsibility for accepting payment for a product that they could not deliver, despite their claims to the contrary and according to the state does not exist, 

Avoid dealing with this company. Individual state agncies provide the ability to request and receive documents by mail for a "reasonable price" without Outrages Prices for a product that this company could not deliver and provides no customer recourse when they fail.
